Piñaq Original Passion Fruit Liqueur is an ultra-premium, exotic tropical spirit famed as much for its striking, metallic-gold pineapple-shaped decanter as it is for the liquid inside. Produced in the Netherlands, this vibrant liqueur features an upscale, multi-spirit architecture: it expertly blends high-quality Dutch vodka with rich, aged French VSOP Cognac and infuses it with real, natural passion fruit juices. This creates a beautifully complex liqueur that avoids the cloying, syrup-heavy nature of cheap tropical modifiers, balancing bright citrus acidity with a smooth, warming brandy backbone.
Food Pairing: Coconut shrimp with a sweet-chili drizzle, tangy key lime pie, fresh mango and pineapple skewers, or sharp, salty goat cheese.
TASTING NOTES Luminous, vibrant golden hue with a smooth, silky, and beautifully refreshing light-to-medium body.
NOSE Powerfully aromatic and highly tropical, bursting with upfront notes of fresh tart passion fruit, ripe pineapple, and sweet honey, balanced by a subtle trace of warm caramel and vanilla oak from the Cognac base.
PALATE A masterfully balanced entry; a vibrant, juicy wave of sweet passion fruit and tropical citrus citrus oils is met by a crisp, pleasant tang of natural acidity. The mid-palate reveals the smooth, velvety, and sophisticated warming presence of the French VSOP Cognac.
FINISH Clean, refreshing, and short-to-medium in length, leaving a lingering, mouthwatering tartness of passion fruit alongside a soft, clean spirit warmth.
SERVE Highly versatile; fantastic when served well-chilled on its own, over crushed ice, topped with tonic water or club soda for a quick spritz, or used to elevate a tropical Margarita or White Rum punch.
