The brain trust at Ashton cigars has had an epic run of delivering intensely pleasing smokes that have captured the imagination (and taste-buds) of the cigar enthusiasts around the Globe. The impressive streak continues with an uber-delicious cigar blended by none other than cigar legend Jose “Pepin” Garcia: The La Aroma de Cuba Rothschild.
The classic 5” x 50 La Aroma de Cuba Rothschild starts with a core of thick and velvety Nicaraguan filler tobaccos which are placed inside a hearty Nicaraguan binder leaf. A sumptuous Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper surrounds the plush tobaccos to create a wondrously rich, yet smooth 45 minute or so experience.
Once the La Aroma de Cuba Rothschild is afire, voluptuous earth and wood notes roll over the palate, clearing the way for addition of leather, sweet spice and natural tobacco flavors to the complex, medium-to-full bodied journey. The finish is big, long and exceedingly pleasing lingering long after the cigar is put to rest.
The La Aroma de Cuba Rothschild is a fantastic smoke for any occasion and is hands down the best value in its class. If you want a well-made and endlessly satisfying smoke that doesn’t require cutting into your beer fund, then the La Aroma de Cuba Rothschild is a most excellent decision! Enjoy with a smoked Porter for tasty goodness.
