Henri Badoux Aigle les Murailles Blanc
This Swiss white wine is produced in the Chablais AOC near Lake Geneva from the indigenous Chasselas grape. The historic estate was founded in 1908 and remains one of the most respected names in the Pays de Vaud.
Vines grow on exceptionally steep, stone walled slopes above Aigle, requiring hand harvesting and careful vineyard work. These dramatic terraces capture reflected heat, helping Chasselas achieve concentration while retaining its defining freshness and minerality.
- The nose shows ripe stone fruit with gentle spice and warm alpine notes.
- The palate is dry and expressive, delivering flinty minerality alongside pear and peach flavours.
- The finish is structured and persistent, with savoury depth and a refined, mouthwatering close.
Pair with Alpine cheeses, freshwater fish or light poultry dishes.
