Domaine La Croix Gratiot Brechallune Picpoul de Pinet 2024
This Picpoul de Pinet comes from Domaine La Croix Gratiot, a leading organic estate in the Languedoc managed by Anais Ricome. Produced near the Mediterranean coast on limestone-rich soils, the wine reflects the freshness and salinity that define the region’s best Picpoul wines. The estate is recognised for site-focused winemaking and sustainable vineyard practices. The Bréchallune cuvée comes from a single vineyard parcel harvested later for added concentration and texture. Fermentation takes place in concrete vats and ceramic amphorae, followed by lees ageing to build depth while preserving freshness and acidity.
- The nose shows grapefruit, lime and white flowers with subtle citrus peel and mineral notes.
- The palate delivers lemon, green apple and pomelo with layered texture and bright saline acidity.
- The finish is fresh and persistent with chalky minerality and lingering citrus zest.
Pair with oysters, grilled prawns or Mediterranean seafood dishes to complement the wine’s crisp mineral profile.
