Bonanza The Vinekeeper Napa Cabernet Sauvignon Lot 1 is a premium red wine from the Napa Valley region in the United States. Launched in 2019, Bonanza is a project by Chuck Wagner, the owner and winemaker of the world-renowned Caymus Vineyards, who was inspired by his father Charlie Wagner Sr.'s love for an accessible glass of wine with daily meals. While the original Bonanza series explores diverse vineyard sites across California, 'The Vinekeeper' is a new series designed to showcase specific standout regions over time, with this debut release focused exclusively on the prestigious Napa Valley.
Wine Description
This debut release presents a medium ruby colour and a sensory profile that is rich, fruit-driven, and beautifully balanced. The nose is a captivating symphony of sun-drenched currants, dried roses, and grape pomace, with nuances of toasty oak that impart a subtle smoked meat and earthy character. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and plush, offering an orchestra of ripe blackberry, blueberry, and cocoa-dusted cherries. It features striking smoothness with silky tannins and hints of vanilla, cassis, and toasted bread. The finish is lengthy and mouthwatering, trailing off with notes of dark chocolate. This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon typically has an ABV of 14.1% and is not certified organic.
