A LOCAL HOME OF HAUTE COUTURE

Pencil and sketchbook in hand, fashion designer Jenna Bourque envisions a classic three-piece business suit, complete with structured tailoring and refined details, and gets to work on the latest designs for her next collection. Stacked high with European fabrics and colourful threads, the charming office and bustling atelier of A de V 2 Couture by Jenna evokes a Nuevo old-world charm that whisks you away to high-end fashion and design found in the heart of France.

Bourque established the line earlier this year after meeting local Parisian fashion designer Anne De Villers. Anne De Villers’ Fashion was once a name well known in the city by the fashionistas and business professionals who devoutly followed the Windsor-based line year after year. Founded 33 years ago, the line brought the Parisian tradition of haute couture – exclusive custom-fit clothing – to fashion lovers of Essex County. Upon De Villers retirement in June 2011, Bourque drew inspiration from De Villers’ custom-fit method and maintains the tradition of haute couture with her own line, A de V 2 Couture by Jenna.
