Landscape Effects Group Lets You Imagine The Possibilities

It’s a frigid February afternoon as a somewhat weary-looking Paul St. Pierre holds court within the blueprint-covered presentation room of his Landscape Effects Group’s Belle River offices. His usual indefatigable enthusiasm – so widely recognized by family, friends and work colleagues alike – has perhaps discernibly dropped from its normal level, thanks to him having spent the lion’s share of the previous night behind the wheel of one of Landscape Effects Group’s snow-plowing tractors, fighting one of this winter season’s rare snow events. Although such hands-on duty would not seem to befit the president of one of Southwestern Ontario’s most prosperous landscaping companies, St. Pierre wouldn’t have it any other way.

“I love it,” he says, without hesitation. “One hundred percent, I want to be out there with our team.” Although this year’s mild winter saw Landscape Effects Group actively landscaping until Christmas, St. Pierre and his team have built a substantial winter arm of their business that keeps them busy through the colder months. “We have changed the culture, somewhat, of our business,” he says. “We are absolutely still a landscape design and construction company, but our winter operations have allowed us to also establish ourselves as a premier year-round grounds maintenance service provider as well.”
